Baba Homecare provides compassionate, detail-oriented house cleaning and homecare services tailored to the needs of neurodivergent, disabled, and diverse households. We proudly serve the Greater Triangle Area of North Carolina, including Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh.
We are a team of disabled, neurodivergent, queer, trans, and BIPOC homemakers and caregivers providing sensory-aware and trauma-informed cleaning and organizing services for people in our community. Our work is relational, people-centered, and rooted in the inherent dignity of every person, whether they are receiving care or providing it.
Our mission is to create calm, functional spaces through inclusive, client-centered care. We’re hiring residential house cleaners who share our values of community, kindness, and respect. No prior cleaning experience is required—just a willingness to learn and grow.

Sliding scale services—your work makes a real impact
Clean residential homes according to client preferences and Baba Homecare’s standards
Perform tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens, bathrooms and trash/recycling
Handle light housekeeping work such as laundry, linen changes, dishes, etc.
Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and team members
Balance time management with attention to detail by sticking to client priorities.
Manage personal inventory of cleaning supplies, including washing rags after each client.
Willingness to learn standards and specifications of Baba Homecare
Strong attention to detail and time management
Comfort working independently and adapting to client needs
Respectful communication and sensitivity to diverse households
Must be able to lift 20lb and stand for 2-5 hours with multiple breaks.
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to wear a mask (KN95 or better) for the duration of work if requested by clients.
Access to basic cleaning equipment and supplies (we’ll provide a full list)
Experience with neurodivergent or disabled clients, or interest in trauma-informed care
Experience in residential cleaning, caregiving, or home organization
